December 10, 2018
A heartbreaking passion for Palermo, for details, for beauty, for uniqueness and craftsmanship: these are the themes that bind the artist Nathalie Hambro to the Dell'Oglio company.
A recognition, an appropriation of the city and its most significant places have led Hambro to choose Dell'Oglio to recount her first exhibition in the city: “EX VOTO”.
The project will fund an educational campaign dedicated to the City "Nathalie's Trash Crash" to cultivate respect for nature, the environment and the landscape in the younger generations through social awareness and the promotion of the use of materials and recycling.
Ex-Voto is a project that collects five hundred photographs taken by the artist that recount the discovery of the city and its secret corners, each of which is stored in a limited edition box made by the Salerno factory based on a design by Hambro. contact between Palermo and its artisans.
«Ex Voto is the diary of the journey that has led me to become" Palermo "since my first visit (July 13, 2016) looking for a home and then in everyday life. I scoured the city on foot for months photographing places, often focusing on details and what is often overlooked»
