ASYMMETRIC SHAPES

STYLE TIPS

SHAPESHIFTERS

Asymmetric lines are fashion's latest must-have, seen on dresses, blouses and tops galore for SS15. Unconventional, unique shapes take centre stage, from shoes in white and black patent leather by Acne Studios: super structured and with a wide heel and unsymmetrical silhouette, to dresses, skirts and trench coats by Simone Rocha with aymmetric hems. Given volume and texture with cloque, romance is abound.

Stella McCartney, offers asymmetric rouched hems on elegant silk dresses, tank tops and skirts for a throrougly contemporary look. Kenzo meanwhile shakes things up with optical white dresses, with a longer hem at the back for an avant-garde silhouette. Long fringes, as if from a metropolitan far west era, are the order of the day for Proenza Schouler. Asymmetric hems, elegant colours and summery textiles are on-trend, for those who strive for an innovative yet elegant look.
